Microsoft Bot Framework is a powerful framework for building bots. It is even more powerful with its seemless integration into other MS product suites and services, such as Azure Bot Service, Cognitive Services, and BotBuilder.

Our Power Tools leverage Microsoft Bot Framework and its integration into Office 365 Suite, especially MS Teams. Following are our power tools.

PowerScript

Many organizations are trying to leverage chat to streamline their operations. This is known as ChatOps. ChatOps aims to automate tasks, execute workflows, and retrieve the results directly in chat. The advantage of this is that most organizations are already using a form of chat interaction to communicate with teammates. Leveraging a familiar interface to automate tasks makes it much easier to expose scripts and workflows to non-technical users. This will help the non-technical users who would otherwise not have access self service their requests.

PowerScript is a ChatOps tool that can help with this kind of operation requests using MS Teams as the Chat tool. This tool is built on top of Microsoft Bot Framework, Azure Bot Service, Azure Functions, Azure Automation Services. The tool is developed using PowerShell scripts.

PowerScript provides a framework for running existing scripts under a strong governance model. Once a command is found, authorization to execute the command by the user who sent the message in the chat network is validated. Each command can have zero or more Permissions assigned. Alexa Food Bot

Alexa Bot is a bot that responds to voice commands using Alexa. We have developed this interactive virtual assistant using Alexa which we call Alexa Bot. This bot will interact with user through voice, listen to the instructions and intelligently processes the request. This bot has capability of taking the instructions from the user and intelligently processes the request for food order. Below are some of the key features

Starts interaction by listening to a key word
Authenticating user based on the mobile#
Capable of processing requests and response through rest api’s
Capable of fetching food items by category and interacting with user through voice command for the selection
